Project background
Angélus, a logistics and transport consulting agency, invited us to collaborate on a project for their client Alcyon, a veterinary products distributor in the South East of France who was changing their delivery partners.
The new delivery partners needed to adapt their logistics system to handle a mix of deliveries, everything from office supplies and kibble bags to vaccines and sensitive medical products.
This process required careful coordination of both ambient and refrigerated goods within a changing logistics landscape.

Our approach
We worked alongside Angélus' team and Alcyon’s Head of Logistics and Regional Head of Sales to explore how local veterinary deliveries could integrate with existing networks, such as newspapers and pharmacies.
We coordinated across three logistics hubs (Fréjus, Béziers, and Narbonne) as the new service was launched. At Béziers, we conducted an in-depth audit and supported the implementation of Alcyon’s procedures and standards by the logistics hub and delivery teams. This included putting systems in place to strengthen communication and feedback between Alcyon, the hubs, and drivers.
Impact delivered
Reduced CO₂ emissions through more eco-responsible delivery methods,
Smooth implementation of procedures in line with Alcyon’s standards,
Lower losses of products through better handling and cold-chain compliance,
Stronger delivery team engagement with procedures and client expectations.
